Can I train on the mat?
Yes, that's exactly what it's made for. Yoga, Pilates, mobility, and stretching exercises work directly on the mat while the light is on.
Does the Relight Mat really help with sleep?
For full-body application, there are initial positive indications regarding sleep quality—a systematic review found positive effects in 2 out of 5 included studies (Álvarez-Martínez & Borden 2025), along with an RCT involving female athletes (Zhao et al. 2012).
Does the mat reduce muscle soreness?
The mat works on the same principle as the targeted application with the Mini, for which two meta-analyses show a reduction in DOMS.
Do I need to select a program?
No. The mat has a fixed setting of 660 and 850 nm. You only adjust the brightness and duration.
What is the difference from the Relight Mini?
The Mat is a full-body product for the floor, allowing you to move freely. The Mini is a panel for targeted application on specific areas, featuring four wavelengths and nine modes.
Do I see the light?
You can see the red light at 660 nm. The near-infrared light at 850 nm is invisible to the eye — but it's still on.
How long should a session last?
We recommend 10 to 20 minutes, 3 to 5 times a week. Consistency is more effective than duration.
