Wie genau arbeiten die Programme – und worin unterscheiden sie sich wirklich?

How exactly do the programs work, and what truly sets them apart?

Compression massage works, but not every session is the same. Whether you want to activate before sports, recover after training, or simply loosen up your legs, the right program can make a noticeable difference.

The Reboots Programs

The basic principle is the same for all programs: pressure is built up from distal to proximal, meaning from the feet towards the body. This process can help support blood flow and the removal of metabolic waste products like lactate. What differs between the programs is the approach. Some programs fill the chambers sequentially, others in parallel or with pulses. Programs where multiple chambers are active simultaneously provide enhanced backflow protection.

You can see which program is suitable when directly in the Reboots app. All programs are described there, and it indicates whether they are recommended before or after sports. The app is your best starting point if you're unsure. (only for Go X series, One Pro, One)

The Most Important Massage Programs

Flow

"Flow" applies targeted pressure and is therefore ideal for loosening muscles. The muscles are gradually compressed from the feet towards the body. We especially recommend this program for warm-ups.

Intense

“Intense” promotes lactate removal most effectively. The sustained pressure in the lower chambers prevents backflow. As a beginner, you should ease into this program gradually. At high pressure, this program is very intense and effective!

Impulse

"Impulse" is for short and intense sessions. Since all chambers are inflated simultaneously in an impulse-like manner, "Impulse" maximizes the number of possible compression cycles in a given time.

Intense Flow

“Intense Flow” combines the sequence of the "Intense" and "Flow" programs. Multiple chambers remain inflated simultaneously, preventing backflow. This way, “Intense Flow” also effectively promotes lactate removal. This program is ideal for a quick yet intensive recovery session.

Intense Double

“Intense Double” offers a similar process to the "Intense" program, but with two compression waves running in parallel. This allows for a targeted, double-intensity application to the lower leg and calf area.

Double

Similar to the "Flow" program, but with two chambers filled at each step. This allows “Double” to achieve twice the number of cycles in the same time, making it ideal for shorter warm-up massages.

Conclusion

All programs follow the same basic concept but differ in intensity, speed, and chamber control. Whether you're looking for a gentle warm-up session, an intense lactate transport, or a quick Recovery between sessions, there's a suitable program for every need.

The easiest way to find the right program is through the Reboots App. All programs are listed there with descriptions and recommendations, making them easy to access and use.
