After becoming triathlon junior champion, he crossed the finish line the following year at the Rothsee Triathlon as the youngest winner to date. In 2018, the native of Nuremberg won the championship title in the triathlon middle distance and the Frankfurt City Triathlon in the Olympic distance. One of his greatest successes is winning the Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote in 2019. Since 2021, Frederic has been European Champion half-distance.
